After the ballistic missile alarm mishap in Hawaii, we were very fortunate to have scheduled a representative from the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency speak to the members of HAIP and our guests. Over 70 people attended HAIP's monthly membership meeting with speakers Brigadier General (ret.) Bruce Oliveira and our own HAIP Treasurer, Joshua German. We learned about emergency and ballistic missile preparedness. Josh explained that war and terrorist acts are excluded from homeowner's insurance policies.
