November Membership Meeting: Hawaii State Council Meeting, Disaster Preparedness and CWC

Kim will update the members on the current status and future direction of the International Association of Insurance Professionals.

Disaster Preparedness for Individuals and Businesses
John is the Public Education and Information Officer for the City and County of Honolulu, Department of Emergency Management. His duties include coordinating disaster education training programs, managing Emergency Public Information and Media Operations as well as coordinating the City's Joint Information Center during emergency activations.

12:45 pm - 1:00 pm Confidence While Communicating (CWC) 
HAIP member, Ron Mui, will represent Hawaii at the Region VII Conference Speak-Off contest in Sacramento, CA in March 2019.  He will deliver his 3-minute prepared speech and 1-minute impromptu speech at our meeting. Please be sure to come to the November meeting to give your support to our HAIP's CWC contestant!
